Every time we release new patterns, we always get feedback from some of you asking to see the latest designs in different sizes and fabrics. I totally understand why—you guys want to get a better sense of how they'll look on you and which materials will work best. It's something I think about a lot too. I reached out to our wonderful testers to see if they'd be open to sharing their photos with all of us, and some of them kindly agreed. Sharing photos isn't mandatory for testing, so I'm always super appreciative when they're willing to do this.
Let's kick things off with the Liesl + Co. Terrace Dress, shall we? I absolutely adore how Jeanne and Beth both paired their dresses with wide belts, yet they ended up looking so distinct from one another! And let’s not forget to admire how Beth’s phone case perfectly matches her Rifle print fabric—such a fun touch!
Here’s a sneak peek at what Ana Sofia and Stephanie created. Ana Sofia’s version of the Terrace Dress feels so fresh and spring-like, don’t you think? Stephanie made one for her sister, and while the dress required moving the darts slightly lower for a better fit, her sister was still thrilled with it. By the way, have I mentioned how straightforward it is to adjust darts either upward or downward? If not, I’ll definitely put together a quick tutorial soon.
Moving on to the Liesl + Co. Extra-Sharp Pencil Skirt, Jeanne really knocked it out of the park by perfectly aligning the stripes on her print. Talk about skillful sewing! And check out Emily’s sleeves—they pair beautifully with her fitted skirt.
Crystal’s choice of fabric for her skirt is just stunning—it’s so elegant and fancy!
