October 11 , 2021, Shanghai, China -Last night, the country's first green fashion show with the theme of environmentally friendly denim fabrics and guided by the concept of sustainable design was staged on the 100th floor of the Shanghai World Financial Center "Cloud". Nine independent designers and 29 sets of sustainable design works made their public debut for the first time, conveying the concept of "the more environmentally friendly, the more fashionable", and appealing to everyone to love the earth and start with "clothing". That night, artist Karen Mok appeared in a pleasant surprise, calling for sustainable fashion strength.

The 2021 Green Challenge Sustainable Fashion Awards (hereinafter referred to as "Green Challenge") is jointly initiated by the China National Textile and Apparel Council, the green textile industry, and fashion creations, inviting independent designers to use environmentally friendly denim, recycled polyester, lyocell, etc. The fabric is designed, and the Green Challenge sustainable design guidelines are strictly followed during the design and production process to design environmentally friendly and circular clothing.

Along with the lights on the banks of the Huangpu River, the "Green Challenge Sustainable Fashion Awards" kicked off in the Shanghai World Financial Center Observation Hall. The designer's work is integrated with the bright lighting, without construction, without excessive lighting, a return to the original and sustainable fashion show, paying tribute to the future of the earth.

That night, Karen Karen appeared in a blue wavy denim dress, calling for attention to sustainable fashion. Blue symbolizes the azure earth, water ripples symbolize the oceans and rivers that nurture life, and the dotted sequins symbolize the sky full of stars and clean air. The designer follows the green design principle, chooses natural degradable Tencel denim fabric, uses environmentally friendly dyes for dyeing, and uses laser etching to replace the traditional washing method, and carries out a water ripple design to reduce the environmental impact of the clothing manufacturing process.
