The little "rabbit" is more than just a symbol—it's a message of love and hope. This delicate paper-cut artwork, titled "Little Bunny Rabbit," was created by Peng Peng on December 16th. Each cut tells a story, and every detail reflects the care and creativity behind it.
Peng Tao, a fine arts teacher at Qishen Sunshine School in Huaibei City, Anhui Province, has been deeply committed to sharing the beauty of traditional Chinese art with students who have hearing impairments and intellectual disabilities. Over the past month, she has spent countless hours creating more than 500 paper-cut works for the "Qiutu" project. These vibrant and charming pieces not only showcase her talent but also bring joy and inspiration to the students.
As the Year of the Rabbit approaches, Peng Peng is excited to continue sharing the art of paper-cutting with her students. Through this cultural tradition, she hopes to spread warmth, connection, and a sense of belonging. It's a beautiful way to welcome the new year, one cut at a time.
With every piece, she reminds them that even the smallest creations can carry the biggest messages—like love, hope, and the spirit of celebration.
