Designer Nerissa Lee, whose name is N12H, has growth backgrounds in New York, London, Tokyo and Hong Kong. After graduating from Parsons School of Design in New York, she worked at Anna Sui and Peter Som. "Each quarter of the N12H's design tells the story of a trendy city. Each series is inspired by a destination of travel," said the designer.

This season, her inspiration came from Tokyo, not only the modern face of the city today, but also the retro style of the past Edo period. Throughout the series, the atmosphere of the Edo is looming. The designer stated that her pursuit of the details was the pursuit of the period. She re-interpreted the geisha and samurai culture from a modern perspective. Inspired by the Japanese kimono's Obi Belt, the soft prints and laces come from Japanese traditions and paper, while the striking half-moon floral motifs originate from Chiyogami Paper.

The beauty of the entire series lies in the modern interpretation of Nerissa Lee. Short skirts and sweaters are the sports styles that New York school designers are best at, and the addition of cocktail dress net yarns reinforces this. By combining different fabric textures and color splicing, designers have even created a feeling of a combination of traditional Japanese origami and contemporary art.
