Legendary watch: EXTRA PLATE watch

1955 In celebration of its 200th anniversary, Vacheron Constantin and its traditional movement supplier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, introduced the thinnest movement of the timepiece so far, in one fell swoop. This micro-movement diameter of 9 Lenny or 20.8 mm, a thickness of only 1.64 mm, creating a world record in this category. Over the next few decades, it has seen several models, most notably Patrimony: this 60's model that remains as a true classic remains in our memory. A manual winding movement with a frequency of 18,000 vibrations is placed in a gold-alloy case with a silver dial with a simple hour indicator and a slender Barton pointer. The style of this ultra-thin watch retains only the strict basic elements, its charming elegance and prudence often flourishing.
