Morna Taumarsh, deputy state secretary for customs and international affairs at the Hungarian Ministry of National Economy, said that the arrival of the Central European trains meant the restoration of the ancient Silk Road and the recognition of Hungarian and Hungarian companies. Hungarian companies have once again proved that they are in the forefront of Europe because people choose to handle customs clearance in Hungary. The cooperation between Hungarian companies and Chinese companies has made Hungary one of the logistics distribution centers for Chinese goods in Europe.

Chinese Ambassador to Hungary Duan Jielong said that the “Belt and Road” is showing great potential for cooperation. China is Hungary's largest trading partner outside the EU. In 2016, the trade volume between the two countries reached 9 billion US dollars. The successful arrival of the China-European train station means that Hungary plays a more prominent role as a bridgehead and transit station for trade between China and Central and Eastern European countries. Hungary has a geographical advantage. Now it is transported by rail and rail transport from southern Europe, and from the rail transport in northern Europe. At present, China and Hungary are negotiating air charter transportation. In the future, a three-dimensional transportation model of sea, land and air from China to Hungary will be formed, which will greatly strengthen trade between the two countries.

According to reports, after the departure of the first European Central European train from Xi'an, it departed from the Alashankou port of Xinjiang, passing through seven countries including Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. The whole journey was 9,300 kilometers and the running time was 20 days. . In order to realize the sustainable and normal operation of the China-Europe team, the relevant parties are preparing to set up a cargo distribution base in Hungary, mainly radiating the Central and Eastern European regions such as Slovakia and Romania.
